Munch and Learn sessions involves socializing as well as BDSM and power exchange education application for Black Women who identify as Masters, Mistresses, Owners, or Dominants, and all s-types (race, gender, and sexuality inclusive). These sessions will enable participants within the BDSM and kink lifestyles to ask questions, share skills, view demos, and acquire knowledge that will be applicable to one’s personal dynamic or practice of BDSM. The sessions encourage growth and real-time learning. ALL skill levels and practices are welcomed.

Munch and Learn sessions will occur four (4) times per year coinciding with each season; Winter (February), Spring (April), Summer (July)*, and Fall (October), with a duration of three (3) to four (4) hours. Please review topics and any restrictions per event posting as Munch and Learn sessions are private/vetted events.

  • Purpose: To gather real-time socially and create a safe space conducive for BDSM education, skill sharing, growth, and safe exploration.
  • Goal: To gain knowledge and become better equipped for one’s personal practice of BDSM and power exchange in the context of Black Female Led or Authority-based dynamics.
  • Delivery: Demonstrations, workshops/classes, or peer sharing.

Please send, via email, those questions or items in which you seek knowledge or you may desire to share a skill with others. This can be theory, concepts, or tactile/physical skills. Session themes will be created from suggested ideas from group members and BFD Leadership.

Note: You may submit as many ideas as you desire, on a continual basis, as ideas will be implemented throughout the current year and beyond. Volunteer presenters are also welcome (from both sides of the slash); please inquire on requirements.
